Transfer Students
If you are transferring to the University of Alabama later in your college career, don't worry, you still have many opportunities to get involved. The Transfer Student Association, a part of the Office of New Student Programs (newstudents.ua.edu), can be an excellent way to start making connections on campus. Also, fill out the Interest Inventory, and a Student Involvement and Leadership staff member will help you get connected to the organizations that most interest you. For other ways to get connected and involved on campus, talk to professors, faculty, and students in your major to find out what types of organizations exist for students in your major. Also, keep up with the Crimson White and UA Student News to know when student organizations are accepting applications.
