Student Involvement Week
The Office of Student Involvement and Leadership first sponsored Student Involvement Week during the fall semester of 2009. This week, which follows Week of Welcome for freshman students, provides students of all ages with opportunities to learn about various ways of getting involved and connecting with students with similar interests throughout the UA community. Each day offers unique events, sponsored by different offices and organizations throughout the University, including the Community Service Center, Crossroads Community Center, University Recreation, and many more. The culminating event of the week is Get On Board Day, an annual event sponsored by the SOURCE. On Get On Board Day, representatives from the over 300 student organizations, plus many departments and other components of the University, set up displays in one central location on campus. Students can visit Get On Board Day to collect information and sign up for announcements from various groups in which they are interested.
